Southwest credit card offers and travel perks

Southwest Airlines is currently offering new cardholders of their personal credit cards a Southwest Companion Pass valid through February 2024, plus 30,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 on the card within the first three months of opening the account. The Companion Pass allows a companion to fly with the cardholder on Southwest for free (plus taxes and fees), as long as there is at least one seat left for sale on the plane. The Companion Pass offer is available for a limited time.

All three Southwest personal credit cards, namely the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card, the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card, and the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card come with a Southwest Companion Pass offer. The value of the Companion Pass offer depends on how much use the cardholder will make of it. The more the cardholder travels, the more the companion can also fly for free.
