Outdoor equipment brand Stanley has announced that it will release a range of never-before-seen colours of its 40-ounce Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler, which will be exclusively available to buy from Target starting on 12 March. The products’ special features include its double-wall insulation, ergonomic handle and splash-proof straw gripper, and Stanley says its capacity will ensure users stay hydrated in a way they never have before. Despite its large size, the tumbler is designed to fit in car cup holders, meaning it can be used on the move. The company boasts that it is made from 90% recycled materials.
The cups come in eight new seasonal-inspired colours featuring tie-dyed and colour-blocked patterns, and are perfect accessories for the spring. The tumblers have previously been released in the US and other countries and are renowned for their popularity among influencers and outdoor enthusiasts. They have even been labelled ‘cult-favourites’ due to their limited availability, with a waiting list of over 150,000.
In recent years, the brand has become fashionable on social media websites such as TikTok, mainly because of its double-wall insulation which can keep drinks icy cold for up to 48 hours. Stanley is an American brand that has been around since the early 1900s and is particularly known for its thermoses, which are still very popular today. It creates a range of products including coolers, camp cookware, thermal bottles and outdoor coffee presses.
The company uses social media to promote its products, using a variety of influencers and user-generated content, which has helped to boost its reputation among younger audiences devoted to camping and outdoor pursuits. Stanley is now a division of the Seattle-based outdoor clothing and equipment company, PMI Worldwide. The new tumbler colours are predicted to sell out within a few hours of release.
