The NFL’s free agency deals are well underway after the legal tampering window opened on Monday. From Jimmy Garoppolo’s move to the Raiders to Javon Hargrave’s switch to the 49ers, the FOX Sports NFL crew has had its say on the biggest signings of 2023 so far. Javon Hargrave’s move to the 49ers has been graded an A, while Daniel Jones’ $160 million deal with the Giants has been given a B+. The Dallas Commanders’ reported four-year, $90 million deal with Daron Payne has been graded a B. Tennessee Titans’ QB Ryan Tannehill is reportedly about to be traded to the Panthers, while QB Lamar Jackson has received a non-exclusive franchise tag from the Ravens, meaning he will receive $32.41 million for one year. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Dak Prescott has been traded to the Commanders for a number of draft picks.
Other NFL teams such as the Bengals and Saints are believed to be rebuilding their offensive lines, specifically looking for new quarterbacks, like Orlando Brown Jr. who is coming off a stellar season with the Chiefs. The Giants were criticized for agreeing to terms on a four-year, $160-million deal with Daniel Jones, but insiders say that his unique leverage was a major factor.
