Taylor Swift kicked off her Eras Tour in ‘Swift City, ERA-zona’ with a message to her fans about how much she missed them. The tour is named after her recent album ‘evermore’, and Swift opened with a few songs from this album, including ‘willow’. Fans were given bracelets that lit up different colors throughout the show and were also treated to a performance from opening act Camila Cabello.
Swift’s setlist included older hits like ‘Love Story’, ‘Shake It Off’, and ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, as well as newer favorites like ‘cardigan’, ‘august’, and ‘folklore’. In between songs, she addressed the crowd, thanking them for their support and talking about how much she missed live shows.
The Eras Tour will span multiple continents and run through 2022, and Swift promises to bring a different experience to each show. Fans can expect surprise guests, unique setlists, and a truly immersive experience that showcases all of her different musical eras.
In addition to the tour, Swift is also set to receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, and has been busy working on new music and collaborations with other artists. With the Eras Tour just beginning, fans can expect to see even more from the pop star in the coming months.
