Bam Margera Says He Wants to Fight Johnny Knoxville in Boxing Ring

Bam Margera, a former costar of Johnny Knoxville on “Jackass”, has issued a challenge to fight his former colleague in the ring. Margera believes he was hooked on 18 different medications via forced endorsement through a wellness agreement to take part in “Jackass Forever”. He filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Johnny, the show’s co-creator Jeff Tremaine, and others, which has since been settled. On Instagram, Margera called Knoxville out to partake in some bare-knuckle boxing without gloves to get revenge.

Margera has been struggling with addiction, according to some of his Jackass cast mates in recent weeks. Although Knoxville has not replied, it seems unlikely he will engage with Margera in the fight. TMZ broke the news of Margera’s public intoxication arrest last week in Burbank, which included footage of him shouting at his estranged wife Nikki Margera about their child custody arrangements.

The death waiver that Bam Margera was referring to in his Instagram post was a forced endorsement where he claims he took 18 different medications which messed him up permanently. In a lawsuit that he had filed earlier, he maintained that he was pressured to sign the wellness agreement before making a comeback on Jackass Forever. The incident has prompted Margera to call for a bare-knuckle boxing match with Johnny Knoxville as revenge for being hooked on 18 different medications. Knoxville has yet to respond, however, the cast and crew of Jackass have expressed their concern over Margera’s recent addiction troubles. Margera was arrested earlier last week in Burbank for public intoxication; the news of which was broken by TMZ.

Margera is yet to receive any response from Knoxville or Tremaine, although the show’s cast and crew recently aired their grave concerns over Margera’s addiction issues. The matter is expected to simmer down in the next few days as both parties take stock of the situation.
