Stanley, a 109-year-old camping gear brand, has teamed up with content creators to create a cult-favorite travel tumbler, the Adventure Quencher, which quickly sells out within minutes of every restock. With a waitlist over 150,000 and over 25 million views on TikTok, other brands are trying to emulate Stanley’s success. The Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler recently launched in a new soft matte finish and has small changes that make a big difference while maintaining the same price range of $20 to $45.
The 40-ounce Adventure Quencher size is the most popular, thanks to the product’s tapered, slim base that fits into car cup holders. The cup’s double-wall insulation keeps beverages hot for seven hours and iced for two full days. The Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler has a new two-toned “comfort grip” lining the handle, while the straw has a silicone seal to prevent spilling. Both the Adventure Quencher and Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler are made from a material composed of 90% recycled stainless steel.
Neither of the Quencher cups is spillproof, making it a no-go for long-distance traveling, but the cups’ straw design stands out as a favorite. Compared to other cups with straws, Stanley’s tumblers have superior quality and design, with the Reduce 40-Ounce Cold1 Insulated Stainless Steel Straw Tumbler Mug coming in as a fan favorite at Target. Yeti’s Rambler 25-Ounce Stackable Cup is inferior to the Quenchers, lacking a handle and having a bare-bones lid that only accommodates a straw.
Overall, the Stanley Adventure Quencher Travel Tumbler and the newer Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler are both excellent choices, with the sealed straw spout and silicone-lined handle of the latter making it a top pick. The recycled nature of the cup also makes it a planet-friendly choice.
